Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the pasta cooking class?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but it’s best suited for ages 12 and up since it's a hands-on class. Kids might find it tricky to keep up with the cooking, but if they're interested, I think it could be a fun family experience. Just check with Mary ahead of time if you're bringing younger kids!

Q: What should I wear to the cooking class? Is it messy?

A: Definitely wear something casual that you don’t mind getting a bit messy! An apron is a must, and closed-toe shoes are recommended since you'll be in a kitchen. Bring some comfy clothes because you might be moving around a lot, especially if you're making pasta!

Q: Can we bring our own drinks? What if we don’t drink alcohol?

A: Yes, you can BYOB! Even if you don’t drink alcohol, it’s totally fine to bring non-alcoholic beverages. Some people brought sparkling water or homemade lemonade, which paired great with the meal. Just check with Mary if there's any specific guideline on what to bring.

Discussions

Just did the pasta cooking class in Greenwich Village - Here’s my experience!

I recently took Mary’s pasta cooking class and it was amazing! She really knows her stuff. We made fresh pasta from scratch and the rooftop view while eating dinner was spectacular! The sauces we learned to make were delicious. I can't wait to try them at home. Plus, I brought my own wine, which made the night even better. Totally recommend this for anyone looking to have a fun night out in NYC!

Considering gifting the cooking class to my partner - any advice?

I’m thinking of surprising my partner with Mary’s pasta cooking class for their birthday! They love cooking but have never tried making pasta from scratch. Just wondering if anyone has done this as a gift before and if it was well received? Also, how’s the overall vibe? Is it fun?
