Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this tour? My daughter is 10.

A: There's no strict age limit for this experience, but younger kids might need a bit of guidance, especially while biking. It’s definitely family-friendly, and my 9-year-old loved it! Just make sure they’re comfortable biking if you plan to do that part, as the trails can get busy.

Q: What if the weather's bad on the day I book? Can I reschedule?

A: Yes, you can usually reschedule if the weather is really bad. Just make sure to check the provider's cancellation policy. We got a rainy day during our trip, and they were super accommodating—allowed us to change our date without any hassle!

Q: How long do we have in Sausalito? Trying to plan lunch.

A: You get about 1.5 to 2 hours in Sausalito, which is plenty of time to grab lunch! There are some great waterfront spots like Fish. or even some cute cafes. We had a lovely picnic by the water!

Just did the Muir Woods + Golden Gate bike tour and WOW!

I just got back from this experience and I can't recommend it enough! Muir Woods was breathtaking—those redwoods are massive! The bus ride over the Golden Gate was so cool too. Sausalito was super cute for lunch; we found this awesome little Italian place. The bike ride back was my fave part though. Riding across that bridge was surreal! Pro tip: wear layers because it can get chilly out there.

Considering this as a gift for my parents!

Thinking of getting this Muir Woods + bike tour for my parents’ anniversary. They love nature but aren’t super active. How’s the walking in Muir Woods? Is it easy to navigate?
