Discover the best of Manhattan and see over 20 of the city’s most iconic landmarks with a fun local guide, then enter the fascinating and moving 9/11 Museum. The tour begins on Wall St., the oldest part of Manhattan, where you can experience the bustling district and see iconic sights like Ground Zero and the Charging Bull & Fearless Girl at the New York Stock Exchange. Walk to City Hall for glimpses of the Brooklyn Bridge and famous courthouses. Next, head to the Five Points, Chinatown, and Little Italy. Learn about their vibrant cultures and get tips on the best local NYC food. We finish the tour near the iconic Flatiron Building. After the tour, learn about the history of 9/11 and hear stories of the heroic actions that took place on the day. The 9/11 Museum has many moving exhibitions to commemorate the victims and heroes of the attacks. The tour is 5 hours (3 hours Manhattan Walking Tour & about 2 hours at The 9/11 Museum.) Your guide will not accompany you inside the museum.

Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for this tour? Can kids join?

A: Kids are totally welcome on this tour! The walking part is pretty manageable for younger ones, but just keep in mind that the 9/11 Museum has some very emotional content. It's good to prepare them for what they might see and hear. A lot of families bring kids ages 8 and up.

Q: What's included in the walking tour? Do we get to stop for food?

A: The tour includes stops at over 20 iconic landmarks, like the Charging Bull and Brooklyn Bridge. You’ll definitely get tips on where to grab some good local eats, but there’s no scheduled food stop. If you’re super hungry, I’d suggest grabbing a quick bite before the tour or asking your guide for recommendations along the way.

Q: Can I reschedule if something comes up?

A: Yes, you can reschedule! Just reach out to the provider at least 48 hours in advance. They’re pretty understanding, especially if you have an emergency or something unexpected pops up. Just make sure to check their cancellation policy for any possible fees.

Just got back from the 9/11 Museum and walking tour!

Wow, what an experience! I went on the tour last week and it was awesome. Our guide took us through Wall St. and pointed out so many cool spots like the Charging Bull. I loved learning about the history of each place. The 9/11 Museum afterwards was emotional but really well done. Perfect mix of walking and meaningful history! Highly recommend it for anyone visiting NYC!

Thinking about gifting this tour!

I’m looking to get this as a gift for my parents who are visiting NYC. They love history and culture. Anyone have thoughts on the tour? Is it engaging enough for older folks? I’m a little worried they might find it too much walking!
