Discover the best of Manhattan and see over 20 of New York’s most iconic landmarks, then visit the world-famous Museum of Modern Art (aka MoMa) – home to one of the world’s finest collections of modern art. The tour begins on Wall St., the oldest part of Manhattan, where you can experience the bustling district and see iconic sights like Ground Zero and the Charging Bull & Fearless Girl at the New York Stock Exchange. Walk to City Hall for glimpses of the Brooklyn Bridge. Next, head to the Five Points, Chinatown, and Little Italy. Learn about their vibrant cultures and get tips on the best local NYC food. We finish the tour near the iconic Flatiron Building. After the walking tour, visit MoMA to see iconic works like Van Gogh’s, The Starry Night, Monet’s Water Lilies, Warhol’s Campbell’s Soup Cans, Dalí’s The Persistence of Memory, and Wyeth’s Christina’s World. The tour consists of a 3-hour Manhattan Walking Tour & 2 hours in the MoMA. Your guide won't accompany you inside MoMA.

Q&A

Q: Is there a minimum age for this walking tour and museum experience?

A: There's no strict age limit, but I’d recommend it for ages 12 and up since the tour includes a lot of walking and some historical context that younger kids might not appreciate. Kids under 12 can definitely join, but they might not be as engaged. Just think about their stamina for a solid 3-hour walk! Plus, the MoMA is amazing, so it could be a fun experience for teens.

Q: What happens if it rains on the day of the tour? Do they cancel?

A: Unless it’s a serious storm, the tour usually goes on as scheduled. They recommend checking the weather and dressing appropriately. If the weather is really bad, they might reschedule, but they give you notice. Just be sure to bring an umbrella or a raincoat—walking around Manhattan in the rain can be a challenge but also kinda fun!

Q: How much walking is involved? I'm not super fit?

A: The tour is around 3 hours, but it’s pretty leisurely paced. You’ll definitely walk a few miles, but there are breaks and stops to enjoy sights and hear stories. Just wear comfy shoes, and you’ll be fine! If you need to take it slower, just let your guide know—they're super accommodating.

Just did the MoMA and walking tour—amazing!

I just got back from the Museum of Modern Art and the Manhattan walking tour, and wow, what a combo! Starting in Wall Street was cool, seeing the Charging Bull and all that. Our guide was super fun and gave great tips on where to grab some authentic NYC food after. The MoMA was breathtaking! Definitely a must-do if you’re into art. Can’t recommend it enough for a day out in NYC!

Thinking of gifting this tour! Any tips?

I’m considering this walking tour and visit to MoMA as a gift for my sister’s birthday. She loves art but isn’t super familiar with NYC. Anything I should know before booking? Is it really worth it? I want to make sure she has an unforgettable time!
