Q&A

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the tour?

A: If the weather's bad, they usually reschedule you for another day. Just contact TOP SIGHTS TOURS LLC as soon as you know. Make sure to check their policy in advance just to be safe! I did this tour in the rain, and while it was fun, the views weren’t the best for the Statue.

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this tour?

A: There's no strict age limit, but it’s definitely suited for older kids who can walk for about 3 hours. Young kids might get tired, especially since the ferry ride to the Statue of Liberty is a bit long. I took my 10-year-old, and he loved it, but my 5-year-old struggled a bit.

Q: Do we have to wear anything specific for this tour?

A: There's no strict dress code, but wear comfy shoes since you'll be walking a lot! New York can be humid in summer, so breathable clothing is key. I did this tour in sneakers and a light tee, and it was perfect for the day!

Thinking of getting the Statue of Liberty tour as a gift!

Hey everyone! I wanna get my sister this Visit The Statue of Liberty and Manhattan Walking Tour for her birthday. She loves history and is always talking about NYC! I’m a bit worried about the walking part since she’s not super active, but I think she can handle it. Also, are the guides really good? Like, do they make it fun? Any tips?

Just did the Manhattan Walking Tour and it was amazing!

I took the Manhattan Walking Tour last week, and wow, it was fantastic! Our guide was so knowledgeable—she shared sooo many cool stories about the places we visited. Seeing the Charging Bull and then hitting Chinatown was a highlight for sure! The ferry ride to the Statue of Liberty was the cherry on top! Can't recommend this enough as a gift for anyone who enjoys the city!
