Q&A
A: Definitely dress in layers! It can get pretty chilly at night, especially near Mauna Kea. The guides provide down jackets, but wearing a comfy base layer is key. I'd suggest closed-toe shoes for the hiking parts too, just in case it gets wet or muddy.
A: Yes, if the weather is unfavorable, you can reschedule. They’re pretty flexible about that! Just give them a call or message them to discuss your options. They want everyone to have the best experience possible!
A: Definitely! It's really family-friendly. Kids love the lava glow and exploring the lava tubes. Just keep in mind they need to be supervised, especially on hikes. I’d say it’s great for ages 5 and up. Oh, and the stargazing part is a hit with all ages!

Thinking of gifting the Volcanoes & Stargazing tour, thoughts?
I'm considering this tour for my parents' anniversary. They love nature and haven't seen Hawaii yet! The combo of volcanoes and stargazing sounds perfect, especially with the private van charter aspect. Has anyone done this? What did you think?
Just got back from the Volcanoes & Stargazing tour!
Wow, what an experience! We saw the lava glow and even hiked in the lava tubes. The guides were super knowledgeable and made everything so fun. Not to mention the stargazing part with the telescope—it was breathtaking! Highly recommend it!
