A: Yes, there is an age requirement. Riders must be at least 16 years old to operate an e-bike here. If you're planning on getting this as a gift for someone younger, you might want to consider renting a tandem bike or going with them on a guided tour instead. Just a heads up!

Q: What should I wear for the ride? Any specific clothing recommended?

A: Definitely wear something comfortable! I'd recommend athletic wear and closed-toed shoes. The weather can be pretty warm, so breathable fabrics are a plus. Don’t forget sunscreen and sunglasses since you'll be in the sun a lot while riding around Diamond Head.

Q: How does the parking situation work? Is it hard to find a spot near the rental?

A: Parking can be a bit tricky, especially during peak hours. There’s a parking lot nearby, but it fills up fast. I suggest getting there early or using public transport if possible. It’s less stressful that way! Plus, it gives you more time to explore.

I’m considering this electric bike rental in Waikiki for my brother’s birthday. He loves to ride and I think cruising around the beach and checking out Diamond Head would be epic! Just did the Diamond Head e-bike tour and it was amazing!

I rented an e-bike from Hele on Waikiki last week and rode all around the coast. It was one of the best experiences ever! The views at Diamond Head are jaw-dropping. I highly recommend going early in the day. The bikes are super fun and easy to ride. I can't wait to do it again!
