Q&A

Q: Is there a minimum age for kids to go on the whale watching tour?

A: Yes, children 3 years and older are welcome on the boat. Just make sure they have a good life jacket on. It’s a fun experience for families, but if your kid gets seasick easily, you might want to reconsider. Overall, it’s a great way to see marine life!

Q: How often do they cancel due to weather? And can you reschedule?

A: They do cancel if the weather isn’t safe, especially if it's too windy. If they cancel, you can easily reschedule for another day. Check their policy on the website for details, but it’s pretty flexible. Just keep an eye on the forecast!

Q: What should I wear on the boat? Is it cold out there?

A: Layering is key! It can get a bit chilly out on the water, especially if it’s windy. I’d recommend a light jacket and some comfortable shoes. Also, don’t forget your sunscreen and a hat—your skin will thank you when you’re out under the sun!

Looking for a fun family gift? Just did the Waikiki Whale Watching!

I took my family on the Waikiki Whale Watching tour last weekend, and it was amazing! The crew from Xtreme Parasail was super friendly. We saw a couple of humpback whales and even some dolphins! The views of Diamond Head and the coastline were breathtaking. It’s a great way to spend a few hours together. Totally recommend it as a gift for family or friends visiting Oahu!

Thinking about booking the whale watching tour for my girlfriend’s birthday!

I’m considering the Waikiki Whale Watching tour as a surprise for my girlfriend’s birthday. I know she loves marine life and the ocean. I’m a bit nervous about booking though—what if we don’t see any whales? Is it still worth it? Anyone with tips on making it special?
