Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit, but they typically recommend kids around 6 and up for wake surfing and wakeboarding. The instructors are great with kids and can tailor the experience based on their ability. Just make sure they’re comfortable in the water and can swim a bit! It’s all about fun and safety.
A: Absolutely! You can bring snacks and drinks, which is perfect for a day on the water. Just keep in mind to pack things that won’t make a mess. Also, they’re super accommodating about keeping everything cool if you bring a cooler.
A: If the weather isn’t looking good, they’ll usually give you a call to reschedule. They really want you to have a great experience, so they’re flexible about moving your day if it’s stormy or too windy. Just keep an eye on the forecast!

Just did the wake surf experience on Lake Whatcom, and it was epic!
I surprised my brother with a wake surf session for his birthday, and we had the best time! The crew at Whatcom Wake made us feel so welcome. The coaches were super chill and really knew how to get us up on the board. The location is beautiful and the gear was top-notch. We went for 4 hours, which was perfect. Can’t wait to go back!
Thinking of gifting the wakeboarding experience — any tips?
I'm trying to decide if I should get this for my best friend’s birthday. She loves water sports, but she's never done wakeboarding before. What’s the vibe like? Is it easy for beginners? Any advice would help!
