Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the USS Arizona Virtual Reality Experience?

A: There's no specific age limit for the Virtual Reality Experience, but I’d say it's best for ages 10 and up. Younger kids might not fully appreciate the historical context, plus they should be able to handle the VR headset comfortably. Just make sure to reserve your boat tickets in advance if you want to visit the memorial too!

Q: What if the weather's bad? Can we reschedule?

A: The good news is that the Virtual Reality Experience is indoors, so you won't need to worry about the weather! However, if you have boat tickets for the memorial, those may be affected by weather conditions, so check for any alerts. If you need to reschedule the VR part, I suggest contacting Pacific Historic Parks directly for their policy.

Q: What should we wear for the USS Arizona VR Experience?

A: Honestly, just wear comfy clothes! You’ll be sitting down for the VR experience, so nothing fancy is needed. If you're planning to explore Pearl Harbor afterward, you'll want something suitable for walking, maybe some sneakers. Plus, the air conditioning can get a bit chilly, so a light jacket might be a good idea.

Super excited about gifting the USS Arizona VR Experience!

Hey everyone! I’m planning to surprise my dad with this VR tour since he’s a huge history buff. He loves Pearl Harbor stuff, so I think this will blow his mind! It’s at Pacific Historic Parks, and I read the experience gives a super immersive view of the USS Arizona before the attack. If any of you have done it, how did you like it? Any tips for making it special?

Anyone else feel a bit skeptical about VR experiences?

I’m thinking about the USS Arizona VR Experience but I’m worried it might not feel real enough. I love history, but I’ve never done VR before. What’s it like? Can you really see what it was like back then? Let me know your thoughts!
