Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit since it's a self-guided audio tour, so kids can definitely join! It's really flexible, and families can explore at their own pace. Just keep in mind, some parts of Tremé have historical themes that might be better suited for older kids, but young ones can enjoy the music and sights too!
A: You can definitely do the tour in the rain, but it's best to check the weather beforehand. If it's just drizzling, you can still enjoy it with an umbrella! Just remember to dress appropriately and maybe bring some waterproof gear. If it's a heavy storm, it might be better to reschedule for a nicer day.
A: The GPS is super user-friendly! Once you download the VoiceMap app and start the tour, it’ll guide you automatically as you move through different spots in Tremé. Just make sure you have your map downloaded beforehand if you’re worried about data usage. It's really intuitive, even for someone who's not tech-savvy!

Thinking of gifting the Walking the Tremé tour!
Hey guys! I'm thinking about gifting the Walking the Tremé tour to my boyfriend. We’re both fans of jazz and love New Orleans! I just love the idea of exploring such a culturally rich area at our own pace. Has anyone tried it? Any tips on where to start or what to wear?
Just finished the Walking the Tremé tour!
OMG, just did the Walking the Tremé tour and it was fantastic! The audio was super engaging, and it felt like I was really there in the history. I loved hearing about the civil rights activism and the jazz origins. I totally recommend it for anyone visiting NOLA! It’s free, which is crazy! Anyone else done it? What was your favorite part?
