Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join the VIP tour to D.C.?

A: There isn't a strict age limit for kids on the VIP tour. It’s pretty family-friendly! I took my 10-year-old, and he loved it. Just keep in mind that some sites, like Arlington Cemetery, might not be as engaging for younger kids, but the guide does a great job of keeping everyone interested.

Q: Do we have to pay for meals during the D.C. tour, or are meals included?

A: Meals aren’t included in the price of the VIP tour. You’ll have some free time for lunch at the National Mall, so budget for that. There are loads of food trucks and cafes nearby, so you'll have plenty of options.

Q: What should we wear for the VIP tour? Is there a lot of walking?

A: You'll be doing a fair bit of walking, so wear comfortable shoes! Dress in layers since the weather can change, especially in D.C. during spring or fall. A light jacket might come in handy for the morning. Oh, and don’t forget sunscreen if it’s sunny!

Thinking about gifting the D.C. VIP tour from NY! Anyone done it?

I’m planning to surprise my parents with the VIP tour to D.C. from New York. They love history, and this seems perfect! I read breakfast is included, and I hope they get some good photo ops at the Lincoln Memorial. Just wondering how much walking is involved and if it’s easy for seniors.

Just got back from the VIP D.C. tour! Here’s what to expect!

Wow, what an experience! We started with breakfast in Delaware, and everything went smoothly from there. The guide was amazing, speaking both English and Spanish! Seeing the White House and Arlington was surreal. Just a heads up, there’s a bit of walking, but very manageable. I took plenty of pictures!
