Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this tour?

A: There’s no specific age limit for kids, but I'd recommend it for ages 8 and up. Younger kids might get bored since it's a full day of touring. Also, keep in mind that there's a lot of walking involved, especially at the memorials. Just make sure they can handle a long day!

Q: What should I wear for this day trip?

A: Wear comfy shoes since you’ll be doing a lot of walking, especially at Arlington and the memorials. Dress in layers because the weather can change quickly in DC. You’ll be in and out of the bus, so a light jacket might be a good idea too. Avoid fancy clothes, you want to be relaxed!

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on tour day?

A: The tour runs rain or shine, but if there are severe weather warnings, they might reschedule. It’s always best to check in with the provider before your trip day. Bring an umbrella just in case and plan for some indoor options like the National Museum of American History if you get stuck!

Thinking of gifting the DC day tour! Any insights?

Hey everyone! I’m considering gifting the Washington DC Day Tour from NYC to my parents for their anniversary. They love history and exploring new places. I’m just curious how the tour guide is? I want them to enjoy it fully and not be bored. Also, any tips on what to pack for them? They can be a bit picky about food too!

Just got back from the DC day tour – it was awesome!

I went on the Washington DC Day Tour from NYC last week, and I have to say it was totally worth it! The bus was comfortable, and our guide was hilarious and super informative. Seeing the White House and all the memorials in person really hit different. Just a heads up, make sure you check out Arlington Cemetery; it’s incredibly moving. Can’t recommend it enough!
