Q&A

Q: Are there any age restrictions for kids on this DC tour from NYC?

A: There's no strict age limit for kids on this tour! However, it's really suited for ages 5 and up since they'll enjoy the sights more. Just keep in mind that the tour involves a lot of walking, especially at the Arlington Cemetery and around the monuments. It might be a good idea to bring a stroller for little ones.

Q: What do you wear for a day-long tour in DC? Any tips?

A: Comfort is key! I'd recommend wearing comfy shoes since you'll be walking a lot. Also, check the weather beforehand; it can be super humid in summer! Light clothing is great, but bring a light jacket just in case it's chilly in the morning or evening.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the tour day? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather looks bad, the tour might be canceled for safety reasons, but you can definitely reschedule! They typically give you options for other available dates, so no worries there. Just keep an eye on the forecast before you go.

Thinking about gifting the Washington DC tour, any tips?

I'm considering giving the one-day tour from NYC to Washington DC as a gift for my parents. They love history and have never been to DC! I heard it includes Arlington and the Air and Space Museum, which sounds perfect. Has anyone done this? How was the experience? Any tips on making it enjoyable for them?

Just got back from the DC tour from NYC!

I went on the Washington DC Highlights tour recently and it was SO worth it! The bus was really comfy, and our guide shared tons of interesting facts. Arlington was super moving, and the Air and Space Museum was a total highlight for me. Totally recommend it to anyone thinking about it as a gift or just for yourself!
