Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join this tour?

A: There’s no strict age limit for kids, but younger children will need adult supervision. It's a great tour for families! Just make sure they can handle being outdoors for a few hours and walking a bit between sites.

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather is bad?

A: Yes! If the weather is really bad, you can definitely reschedule. Just contact American Capital Tours at least 24 hours in advance, and they’ll help you find another date.

Q: What should we wear for this tour? Is it casual or dressy?

A: Casual is totally fine! Dress comfortably since you'll be walking and sitting in an open-air vehicle. I’d recommend wearing layers because it can get chilly, especially in the evening.

Just did the DC Monuments Tour—totally recommend it!

I went on the Washington DC History & Monuments Open Air Minibus Guided Tour last weekend, and it was amazing! Our guide was super knowledgeable and friendly. We got to walk by the White House and spend time at the Washington Monument. It was a great way to see the city, and the open-air bus made it even better. Perfect for families! I’m seriously thinking about gifting this to my parents for their anniversary.

Looking to buy this as a gift—any tips?

I’m considering this open-air tour for my sister’s birthday. She loves history and hasn’t been to DC yet! How long does it usually last, and is it good for someone who's not super fit? Also, any tips on parking around there?
