On our location aware smart phone guided walking tour you will see D.C.’s best-known monuments and museums with a few hidden gems in between using the power of our patented walking tour technology and story telling. Go at your own pace, and schedule. On our adventure you’ll see the Vietnam war, Lincoln, Washington, Korean War, world war 2, General Grant, Garfield, Buffalo Dancer, Joan Miro and Marc Chagall monuments, memorials and statues, to name a few. You will also see the Smithsonian museums of American History, Natural History, Air and Space, American Indians, the National Gallery and the sculpture garden, all free to enter, if they are open of course. And along the way I’ll share with you the stories of each site, it’s hidden secrets, and how they influenced and changed the United States. I’ll even suggest a spot to grab lunch and have a picnic along the way. Our tour starts at the Korean War Veterans Memorial, just next to the soldiers in poncho’s.

Q&A

Q: Can this walking tour be done with kids, and are there any age restrictions?

A: Absolutely! The Washington DC Mall Self Guided Audio Walking Tour is perfect for kids. There are no age restrictions, and since it’s self-paced, you can take breaks when needed. Just keep in mind that some sites might be more interesting for older kids, but the stories are engaging enough for all ages. Plus, it's a great way to combine education with fun!

Q: What happens if it rains? Do you just cancel the tour?

A: Good question! Since the tour is all outdoors, rain might make it less enjoyable, but it won’t be canceled. You can just reschedule for another day. I did the tour with an umbrella and still had a great time. Just be sure to check the weather beforehand and dress appropriately!

Q: Is parking around the National Mall easy to find?

A: Parking can be tricky around the National Mall. There are some garages, but they fill up quickly. I’d recommend using public transport or rideshare if possible. If you're driving, arrive early to find a spot, or consider parking a bit further out and walking. The tour starts at the Korean War Veterans Memorial, so plan your route accordingly!
