Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on the Holiday Lights Bus Tour?

A: There's no specific age limit for the Holiday Lights Bus Tour, but I would recommend it for kids ages 5 and up. The tour involves some walking and standing outside, especially at places like the National Christmas Tree, which may be a little challenging for toddlers. It's a fun way for families to enjoy the holiday lights together!

Q: What should I wear for the Holiday Lights Bus Tour? It's cold in December!

A: Dress warmly! You'll be outside a lot during the first part of the tour, so layers are key. I recommend a good winter coat, gloves, and a warm hat. Also, comfortable shoes since there’s some walking at stops like the US Botanic Gardens.

Q: Can you jump on and off the bus at any stop? How does that work?

A: Yes! It’s a hop-on hop-off tour, so you can get off at any of the designated stops. Just keep an eye on the schedule so you don’t miss the bus back to your starting point. It’s perfect for exploring different sights like the National Christmas Tree and the US Botanic Gardens. Just be mindful of the time!

Thinking of gifting the Holiday Lights Bus Tour for my parents!

I’m really considering the Holiday Lights Bus Tour in DC for my parents this Christmas. They love holiday lights and I think they’d enjoy the hop-on hop-off aspect. I noticed they visit the US Botanic Gardens too, which has beautiful displays! Just curious if anyone has done this tour before? Any tips or experiences?

Just did the Holiday Lights Bus Tour and it was amazing!

Wow, I just got back from the Holiday Lights Bus Tour and it exceeded my expectations! The National Christmas Tree was breathtaking, and I loved the hop-on hop-off style because we had the chance to explore the Botanic Gardens. It was chilly, so layer up! Highly recommend it as a gift for anyone who loves the holidays.
