Q&A
A: Yes, kids can ride too! They offer child seats and tag-alongs for younger kids, but you’ll need to check if they have specific age restrictions for the bike sizes. Generally, kids around 12 and up can ride standard bikes. Just call ahead to confirm, especially if you’ve got little ones with you!
A: If the weather’s bad, you can usually reschedule your rental for another day. Just keep an eye on the forecast. It’s a good idea to check with Unlimited Biking directly if you’re unsure. They’re pretty flexible, especially if it’s a weather-related issue!
A: Parking can be tricky around the National Mall, especially during peak tourist season. There are some garages nearby, but they can get full quickly. I’d recommend arriving early or using public transport to avoid the hassle. Maybe consider biking in from a nearby metro station instead!

Thinking about renting bikes at the National Mall, any tips?
Hey all! I’m planning to rent bikes at the National Mall with my friends next month. We want to see all the major sights like the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument. I’ve heard it’s a super fun way to get around, but does anyone have tips on what to wear or anything we should know before we go? Any must-see spots we shouldn’t miss? Appreciate it!
Just did the National Mall bike rental - so worth it!
I just got back from biking around the National Mall and had the best time! The bikes were super comfortable and easy to ride. We stopped at all the big memorials and took a ton of pics. It was awesome to see everything from ground level. I highly recommend this if you want a fun day out in DC. Don’t skip the Lincoln Memorial at sunset, it's stunning!
