Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for this photo lesson? Can kids join?

A: There isn’t a strict age limit, but it's best for kids around 10 and up. The instructor can adjust the lesson based on their understanding. Just make sure they have a camera or even a decent smartphone to practice with during the tour!

Q: What do you wear for this photo tour? Is it outdoors?

A: Definitely dress for the weather! It’s mostly outdoors around Washington Harbour, so comfy shoes are a must. Layers are great too, since you might walk and want to adjust as you go. Don’t forget your camera gear if you have it!

Q: Is rescheduling easy if our plans change?

A: Yeah, the provider is pretty flexible with rescheduling. You just need to give them a heads-up at least 24 hours before your tour. It’s good to check their policy on the website for any updates, but they’re generally accommodating!

Just did the photo lesson at Washington Harbour, and wow!

I went on this tour last week and absolutely loved it! The instructor was so chill and really knew the area. We covered landscape and street photography, which was perfect for my skill level. Plus, I got some amazing photos of the waterfront that I can't wait to share! Highly recommend this as a gift for anyone into photography. The guidebook they provided is super helpful too.

Thinking of gifting the DC Photo Lesson to my brother

My brother loves photography but has never taken a class. I'm considering this as a gift for his birthday. Anyone know if they offer any special tips for beginners? Could he handle it if he's never done anything like this before?
