Q&A
A: No specific age restrictions for the Water Taxi! Kids are totally welcome, and it’s a fun way to see Miami. Just keep in mind that younger children might need life jackets, which they can provide. It’s a chill ride, so bring some snacks if you have picky eaters!
A: If weather conditions aren’t safe, the Water Taxi may cancel the ride for safety reasons. It’s best to check the weather ahead of time. If canceled, you can reschedule your trip for another day without extra charges. Just make sure to call and confirm!
A: Parking at Bayside can be a bit tricky, especially on weekends. There’s a garage nearby, but it fills up fast. I recommend getting there early or using a rideshare service if you can. It’s a fun area to walk around while you wait!

Thinking about gifting the Water Taxi experience – any tips?
I’m considering the Water Taxi ride between Bayside Marketplace and South Beach for my friend’s birthday. It sounds amazing with the views and the commentary. Has anyone done it? How’s the experience? I’m worried about the timing since it’s noon during summer. How crowded does it get?
Just did the Water Taxi and it was awesome!
We took the Water Taxi from Bayside to South Beach last week and loved it! The captain pointed out all the celebrity homes, and the ride was super relaxing. I recommend hopping off and grabbing a bite in South Beach before heading back. Just a heads up, we took the 1 PM ride, so it was kinda busy but still manageable!
