Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this Waterfall Express Tour? I want to take my 8-year-old.

A: There’s no specific age limit for the Waterfall Express Tour, so your 8-year-old can absolutely join! Kids usually love the trolley ride and the waterfalls. Just be sure to keep an eye on them during the hikes since some trails can be steep.

Q: What happens if it rains? Do they cancel the tour?

A: Rain doesn’t usually cancel the tour, but it’s best to check their policy before heading out. The waterfalls are actually stunning in the rain! Just dress in layers and bring a poncho or raincoat. If the weather is really bad, they’ll notify you about rescheduling options.

Q: How does the hop-on hop-off trolley work? Can you just jump off anywhere?

A: The hop-on hop-off trolley lets you get off at any of the designated stops along the waterfall corridor. Just keep an eye on the schedule so you don’t miss the next trolley back. It’s perfect for exploring different trails and viewpoints at your own pace!

Planning to gift the Waterfall Express Tour!

Hey everyone! I’m thinking of giving my sister the Waterfall Express Tour for her birthday. She loves nature but has never been to the gorge. The all-day pass on the trolley sounds amazing, especially since she can hop off to hike at Multnomah Falls! I’m just worried about parking and if it’ll be too crowded. Anyone done this tour recently?

My experience on the Waterfall Express Tour

I just got back from the Waterfall Express Tour, and WOW! The views are breathtaking, especially at Multnomah Falls. The trolley made it easy to stop at different waterfalls without any hassle. Make sure to wear good shoes for hiking! Totally a great day trip if you’re in Portland.
