Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit! People of all ages can enjoy the tour, but keep in mind that younger kids might need some extra supervision on the hikes. It's a pretty family-friendly outing, so no worries if you're planning to bring along the little ones. Just make sure they’re up for some outdoor fun!
A: I'd say plan for at least 4-5 hours if you want to hop off and hike at a couple of stops. Each stop has trails ranging from easy to moderate, so it really depends on how much you want to see and do. Plus, don't forget time for photos and enjoying the views!
A: Comfortable hiking shoes are definitely recommended. Some trails can be a bit uneven, so you want to have good grip and support. I wore my trusty sneakers, and they worked fine, but hiking boots would be even better if you have them!

Thinking of gifting the Waterfall Trolley Tour! Any tips?
I’m considering this for my parents’ anniversary since they love nature and exploring! The idea of hopping on and off at all those waterfalls sounds perfect. I’ve heard the trolley is super fun, and they can actually learn about the area too. Anyone have experiences or tips? How crowded does it usually get?
My experience on the Waterfall Trolley Tour!
Just got back from the Waterfall Trolley Tour and wow, it was amazing! We hopped off at Multnomah Falls and the views were breathtaking. The narration was super informative too. I definitely recommend bringing a camera for all the photo ops. We spent about 5 hours total with some hiking thrown in! Perfect day trip from Portland!
