Q&A
A: You should wear a swimsuit or something that you don’t mind getting wet! Also, a rash guard or a light cover-up is great for sun protection. Don’t forget sunglasses and sunscreen too, since you’ll be out in the sun a lot. Water shoes are a good idea because the dock can get slippery.
A: Yes, riders need to be at least 18 years old to operate the waverunner. If they’re under 18, they can still ride but must be accompanied by an adult. It’s best to check the specific regulations with Power Up Watersports when you book, just to be safe!
A: If the weather is bad, Power Up Watersports will typically reschedule you for another day. They keep a close eye on the weather for safety reasons. It's best to call them if you have concerns right before your scheduled time!

Just got back from the Waverunner Dolphin Tour in Destin!
I took the Waverunner Dolphin Tour with Power Up Watersports last weekend and it was AMAZING! We saw a pod of dolphins swimming right beside us, and the guides were super knowledgeable. The jet skis were easy to handle, even for a beginner. The views of Choctawhatchee Bay were stunning. Definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a fun time on the water! Just be sure to take the boater's safety course if you’re born after '88.
Thinking of gifting the Waverunner Dolphin Tour – is it fun for kids?
I'm considering getting the Waverunner Dolphin Tour for my kids for their birthday, but I’m kinda nervous about how they’ll handle the jet ski. They’re 12 and 14. I know about the age limit but can they ride with me? Anyone else done this with kids? Would love to hear your thoughts!
