If you are looking to get away from the crowds, this tour is for you! Come join me on the lower Wekiva River, where we will see Florida at its most natural. In this ecosystem we will see flora and possibly wildlife including birds, turtles, otters, deer, and maybe an alligator. This river is part of the St. Johns River which is the largest river in Florida so we do have a possibility of seeing the occasional manatee also. We’ll take an hour long journey up stream, and I’ll point out all the exciting nature there is along the way, and then we’ll float back down to the launch point. (there is a max weight limit of 250lbs for the single kayaks and 450lbs for the tandem)****Please note if you need a two person tandem****My kayak tours are capped at 6 kayaks per tour, perfect for families and smaller groups!

A: Definitely keep it casual! I'd recommend wearing quick-dry clothes and a bathing suit since you might get splashed. Don't forget sunscreen and a hat for sun protection. Also, water shoes or old sneakers are a good idea because you'll be walking in and out of the kayak.

Q: Is there a weight limit for the kayaks? I'm going with my partner and want to be sure we fit in the tandem.

A: Yes, there is! The tandem kayak can hold up to 450lbs total, but the single kayaks have a limit of 250lbs each. Just let the guide know you need a tandem when booking, and you should be good to go!

Q: What if the weather is bad? Can you reschedule the kayaking tour?

A: Absolutely! They’ll contact you if weather conditions pose a safety risk. If it’s not safe to kayak, you can reschedule for another date. Just keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your tour.

Hey everyone! I'm looking to buy this Wekiva Wildlife Kayaking Adventure for my parents. They love nature and I think seeing the wildlife in Orlando would be amazing for them! Just got back from the Wekiva tour and wow, it was eye-opening! The guide knew so much about the local flora and fauna. We kayaked for an hour upstream and then floated back down—it was totally chill. Just a heads up, the max weight limit is real! We had to switch kayaks to fit. Still, I'd recommend it for families or anyone who appreciates nature.
