Q&A

Q: Is there a minimum age requirement for kids on the cruise?

A: No, there isn’t a strict age limit for the cruise! It’s a great experience for all ages, and kids usually love seeing the sea lions and the big ships. Just keep in mind that younger kids may need a life jacket, which they provide. Also, having snacks or something to keep them entertained could be a good idea.

Q: What happens if the weather's bad? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather looks bad, they usually notify you a few hours before the cruise. You can reschedule for another date if it's canceled due to safety reasons. The staff is really understanding about making sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable time.

Q: What's the parking situation like around the cruise area?

A: Parking is pretty decent! There’s a lot right near the cruise terminal, and it costs around $10 for the day. Just make sure to arrive a bit early, especially on weekends, since it can get crowded. There’s also some street parking, but that can be a hit or miss.

Thinking of gifting the harbor cruise, any thoughts?

Hey everyone! I’m looking to gift this 45-minute narrated harbor cruise in San Pedro to my parents for their anniversary. They love history and the sea! I heard they get to see the USS Iowa and sea lions. Is it worth it? What should I expect in terms of the experience?

Just got back from the cruise, it was amazing!

I took the West Harbor LA cruise this past weekend, and wow, what a fantastic experience! Seeing the USS Iowa and learning about the port’s history was so cool. The crew was super friendly, and the boat was nice and clean. If you’re thinking about it as a gift, do it! Highly recommend it!
