Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the eBike tour, and can younger kids join?

A: There is no strict age limit, but kids should be at least 12 years old to ride an eBike by themselves. Younger kids can ride with an adult on a tandem bike if available. It’s a great family-friendly option, just make sure they’re comfortable on bikes!

Q: What if the weather is bad? Can we reschedule easily?

A: Ridesmart Maui is pretty flexible with rescheduling due to weather. They’ll contact you if the conditions are unsafe. Just make sure to give them a heads-up as soon as you can if you think you'll need to reschedule!

Q: What should we wear for this tour? Any specific gear recommended?

A: Wear lightweight, breathable clothing since it can get warm. Sunscreen is a must! Closed-toe shoes are best for safety. They provide helmets, but if you have your own, feel free to bring it. Don’t forget sunglasses!

Just did the West Maui eBike Tour – it was amazing!

I recently went on the West Maui eBike self-guided tour and wow, what a day! The views of the coastline were just breathtaking, especially riding past the beaches and coffee farms. I went solo but saw families too, and everyone seemed to be having such a blast. I definitely recommend bringing water and snacks for breaks, though. It’s pretty laid-back, but you’ll want to fuel up for all that pedaling!

Thinking of gifting the eBike tour! Any tips?

I’m looking to surprise my boyfriend with the West Maui eBike tour for his birthday. I’ve heard great things, but is it really as fun as it sounds? Can anyone share their experiences? And is it easy to navigate the route? I wanna make sure he has a blast!
