West Maui Half Day Snorkel from Ka’anapali Beach

Your West Maui Snorkel adventure departs from Kaanapali Beach. Along the way keep your eyes open for Hawaiian spinner dolphins, bottle nose dolphins and during the winter months you can experience the humpback whales that migrate from Alaska to our Maui waters. The Captain will determine the best sites to visit that day based upon current water conditions. Once in the water, you will observe beautiful tropical fish, honu (Hawaiian green sea turtles), vibrant reef, and hopefully some other wildlife surprises. Then after our second location, back on board you will enjoy a buffet lunch and will be offered access to our premium beers, hand crafted cocktails and other libations as we take a leisurely cruise back to Ka’anapali Beach.

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to go on this snorkel trip?

A: There's no strict age limit, but they recommend kids be at least 8 years old to snorkel. Younger kids can still join as long as there's an adult supervising them. Just be sure to bring floaties if they're not confident swimmers!

Q: What should I wear for this trip? Is it casual or more formal?

A: Keep it casual! A swimsuit is a must, and I’d recommend bringing a light cover-up for when you're on the boat. Don't forget reef-safe sunscreen and maybe a hat and sunglasses for sun protection. Flip-flops or water shoes are ideal too.

A: They monitor the weather closely and will cancel if it's unsafe. If that happens, they typically offer rescheduling options or a full refund. Just make sure to check your email for updates the day before your trip!

Just got back from the West Maui Half Day Snorkel - Amazing!

I just did the West Maui Half Day Snorkel from Ka’anapali Beach and wow, what an experience! We saw tons of fish and even spotted a couple of sea turtles! The buffet lunch was solid too, especially the huli hulu chicken. The crew was super friendly and made sure everyone felt comfortable snorkeling. Highly recommend this for anyone considering it as a gift!
