Q&A
A: Yes, there are recommended age limits for the tour. Generally, participants should be at least 12 years old to ride their own bike. For younger kids, they might need to be in a trailer or a tandem option if available. It's best to check with the provider for specifics, but I’ve seen families with teens really enjoying it!
A: Finding parking can be a bit tricky since it's downtown Seattle. There are some paid lots nearby, but they fill up quickly, especially on weekends. If you can, take public transport or rideshare to avoid the hassle. Just plan to arrive a little early to scout out a spot!
A: Dress comfortably! I'd recommend wearing athletic gear—something you can move in easily. Layers are great since it can get a bit breezy on the waterfront. Don't forget sunglasses and sunscreen as well, especially if it’s sunny!

Thinking of gifting the West Seattle Electric Bike Tour!
I’m planning to surprise my boyfriend with this electric bike tour for his birthday! The idea of biking over to Alki Beach and seeing the views sounds amazing. Has anyone done this? Any tips on the best time to go or what to look out for on the tour? I just don’t want it to be too strenuous since we’re not super fit.
Just went on the West Seattle Electric Bike Tour!
I did the tour last weekend and it was AMAZING! Riding along the waterfront and taking the water taxi was such a unique experience. Our guide was super friendly and shared a lot of cool Seattle history. The electric bike made it easy, even for someone like me who hasn’t biked in years. Highly recommend it as a fun gift!
