Q&A
A: If the weather isn't safe for kayaking and snorkeling, South Pacific Kayaks will typically offer to reschedule your tour. They prioritize safety, so if the conditions are rough, you should definitely be able to find another day that works for you. Just keep an eye on the forecast and reach out to them if you have concerns!
A: Kids aged 8 and up can definitely join the tour! Just make sure they're comfortable in the water and can follow instructions. They provide life jackets for all ages, so safety is a top priority. It’s a great way to bond as a family!
A: It’s best to wear a swimsuit since you’ll definitely get wet! Water shoes are a good idea, especially for launching and landing, but if you don’t have them, they provide water socks for you. Also, don’t forget sunscreen – the Hawaiian sun can be intense!

Just Came Back from the West Side Discovery Kayak & Snorkel Tour!
I just got back from the West Side Discovery Kayak & Snorkel Tour in Olowalu and WOW, it was incredible! The guides were super friendly and made everything feel safe. The water was so clear, and we saw tons of colorful fish and even a few turtles! They provided really good gear, and the snacks were a nice touch. Highly recommend this as a gift for anyone who loves the ocean. It’s a perfect day out in Maui!
