Q&A
A: If you don’t see any whales during your cruise, they’ll invite you back for another trip later in the same season at no extra cost. Just keep in mind that it’s subject to availability, so you’ll want to book that follow-up trip as soon as possible. It’s a great way to ensure you get to see those amazing whales!
A: Definitely dress in layers! It can get chilly out on the water, especially if you're up on the upper deck. A light jacket or windbreaker is a good idea. Also, wear comfortable shoes since you'll be moving around the yacht. Don't forget sunscreen too—those rays can be strong out on the sea!
A: Yes, there are age restrictions. Children under 5 years old and expectant mothers aren't allowed on the cruise. This is for everyone's safety, especially considering the boat's movement and the open water. If your toddler is 5 or older, they’re good to go!

Just went on the whale cruise in Santa Barbara—here's my experience!
I recently took the Whale and Wildlife Yacht Cruise on Azure Seas and wow, what a blast! We didn't see any whales, but the crew was super friendly and gave us a voucher for another trip. The views of the coastline and mountains were stunning! I recommend bringing a light jacket for the wind and some snacks. Can't wait to go again!
Thinking of gifting the whale cruise—any tips?
I'm looking to buy the Whale and Wildlife Yacht Cruise for my parents. They love the ocean! Just wondering if anyone has done it recently and can share what to expect. Is it easy to park around Stearns Wharf?
