Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit for the cruise, but kids should be able to stay seated and listen to the naturalist. The cruise is suitable for ages 5 and up, and younger kids are welcome if they can be managed comfortably. Just be aware that it's a boat on the ocean, so some kids might feel seasick!
A: If you don’t see any whales, the cruise offers a complimentary return trip! Just keep your ticket, and you can book another cruise at a later date. It's a nice safety net, but chances are high you'll see at least a few whales during the season.
A: The best time to go is between December and April when the humpbacks are in the area for breeding and calving. Peak activity is often in February. It's really worth planning your trip around these months for the best chance to see them!

Just went on the whale watch cruise - what an experience!
I just got back from the Whale Watch Cruise aboard The Majestic in Oahu, and wow, it was amazing! We saw several humpback whales breaching and even a mother with her calf! The naturalist was super knowledgeable and kept the vibe fun and educational. The boat was super stable, which made it easy to enjoy without feeling seasick. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a unique gift for any ocean lover!
Looking to gift a whale watch experience, but is it worth it?
I want to surprise my boyfriend with a whale watch cruise for his birthday. I’ve heard good things about The Majestic but wanted to know if the experience is really worth the price. What’s the typical whale sighting like? I don’t want to waste money if it’s just a bunch of waves. Also, is it easy to get to the dock?
