Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit! Kids of all ages can join the tour, but keep in mind that younger ones might need a little extra supervision on the boat. Just make sure they’re ready for a potential few hours out on the water. It’s a great experience for families!
A: Yes, absolutely! If the weather isn't good, you'll be contacted to reschedule without any fees. They’re super accommodating about making sure you get to enjoy the tour safely.
A: Definitely dress in layers! It can get chilly on the water, even in summer. A light jacket and comfortable shoes are ideal. Don’t forget sunscreen too – the sun reflects off the water and can be intense.

Just got back from the Gloucester whale watching tour and it was AMAZING!
I can’t believe how many whales we saw! The crew was super knowledgeable and friendly. We went out to Stellwagen Bank and saw a bunch of humpbacks and even a couple of minke whales. The full galley was a nice touch too – we grabbed some snacks while whale watching. Totally worth it and I’m thinking of gifting this experience to my parents next!
Considering a whale watching tour for my boyfriend's birthday!
I’m thinking about getting the whale watching tour in Gloucester as a birthday surprise. He loves nature and always talks about wanting to see whales. Does anyone know if it’s good for someone who’s not super into boats? I’d love to hear some stories!
