Q&A

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather doesn't cooperate?

A: Yes! Mad River Boat Trips allows rescheduling due to weather issues, which is great. Just make sure to call ahead and check their policy, it’s pretty flexible. They want you to have a fun and safe experience!

Q: What should I wear for the rafting trip?

A: You’ll want to wear quick-drying clothes like a swimsuit or shorts, plus a light jacket since it can get chilly on the water. They provide paddling pants and jackets, but layering is key. Don’t forget sunscreen and water shoes – trust me, you’ll thank me later!

Q: Is this experience suitable for kids?

A: Definitely! The trip is classified as easy to moderate (Class I-III), so it's perfect for families. Kids ages 6 and up can join, which is awesome. Just make sure they’re comfortable in the water and listen to the guides – they'll keep everyone safe and entertained!

Just got back from the Whitewater Rafting Adventure in Jackson Hole – so much fun!

I went on the whitewater rafting trip last weekend, and OMG, it was a blast! The guides were super professional and made sure we all felt safe. The rapids were thrilling, but there were also calm spots to soak in the views of the canyon. I totally recommend this for anyone looking for an adventure! I’m thinking of gifting it to my brother for his birthday. Anyone else had a good experience?

Thinking of gifting the rafting trip – any tips?

I'm looking to get this whitewater rafting experience for my parents’ anniversary. They’re adventurous but haven't been rafting before. Is there anything special I should know or that they’d need to bring? Also, how’s the scenery? Worth it?
