Q&A

Q: How tough is the whitewater rafting? Is it good for beginners?

A: It's a great fit for beginners! The class II rapids on this section of the Colorado River are manageable, so you don't have to worry if you're new to rafting. The guides are super helpful and will teach you everything you need to know. Just make sure to listen to their instructions, and you'll have an awesome time!

Q: What's the parking situation like at Paddle Moab?

A: Parking is pretty straightforward. There's a decent-sized lot at their facility. Just get there a bit early to grab a good spot, especially on weekends. Plus, they transport you to the river, so you won’t have to worry about parking at the launch site!

Q: What do you wear for the rafting trip? Is there a dress code?

A: Dress for comfort and the weather! Quick-dry clothing is best since you might get splashed. Don't forget sunscreen and a hat! Water shoes or sandals with straps work great too. Just make sure you don’t wear anything too loose that could snag on gear.

Thinking of gifting a rafting trip! Anyone done this?

I'm considering getting this whitewater rafting experience on the Colorado River for my boyfriend’s birthday. I think he'd love the adventure! I heard the guides are really fun and the scenery is beautiful. Just wondering how long the trip usually lasts and if it’s as awesome as it sounds?

How was the food during the rafting trip?

I’m curious about the lunch included with the rafting trip. Like, is it really good? I don’t want a boring sandwich or something. Also, how are the guides? Are they chill or super serious?
