Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit for kids on this cruise transfer, but the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center is best suited for kids ages 5 and up. Make sure they can handle the tram ride at Alyeska, which is super scenic but may not be ideal for very young kids. It's a great family-friendly experience overall!
A: If the weather doesn't cooperate, the tram ride may be canceled. But don't worry! You'll still get a stunning tour of the wildlife center and the drive along Turnagain Arm is breathtaking, even without the tram. Just check their cancellation policy to see how rescheduling works.
A: You'll typically have about an hour at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. It's enough time to explore and see most animals, plus grab a snack if you need one! Just make sure to keep an eye on the clock so you don't miss the tram ride at Alyeska.

Thinking of gifting the Whittier to Anchorage Cruise Transfer!
Hey everyone! I'm considering this cruise transfer for my parents when they visit Alaska next month. They love wildlife and scenic views, so I think it'd be perfect. Has anyone done this? How's the wildlife center? Are the snacks worth it? I just want to make sure it’s a hit!
Just did the Whittier to Anchorage Cruise Transfer - WOW!
I just got back from the cruise transfer, and I can't recommend it enough! The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center was such a highlight. We saw bears, moose, and even some eagles up close! The tram ride at Alyeska had stunning views of the mountains. Bring a light jacket though; it can get chilly up there.
