The west coast of Oahu offers a unique advantage for finding a variety of marine mammals. Our lifeguard certified crew of marine biologists and naturalists with decades of experience will try to find as much as possible during your tour. Our team is honest, ethical, and genuinely eager to make the best out of your 3 hour tour. We offer a dolphin sighting guarantee! If dolphins are not seen on your tour, we invite you to try again for free. Snorkeling is included on all of our tours (as long as weather permits) to search for sea turtles, fish, and a variety of other marine species. During the winter months (January to March), humpback whales are seen on the Waianae Coast as well!

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather is bad on the day of our dolphin excursion?

A: Yes, if the weather isn't safe for the tour, you can reschedule! The crew will contact you to discuss options for a new date. Just make sure to call them as soon as you know you can’t make it. They’re super accommodating.

Q: What should we wear for the snorkeling part of the tour?

A: Dress comfortably! A swimsuit is ideal, and a cover-up for before and after snorkeling is great too. Water shoes can help on the boat and when entering the water. Don't forget sunscreen – reef-safe if you can!

Q: Is this activity suitable for younger kids?

A: Absolutely! Dolphin Excursions Hawaii welcomes kids. Just check with them for any specific age recommendations, especially since kids need to fit the life jackets properly. My 7-year-old loved it!

Can’t believe we saw dolphins AND snorkeled!

Just got back from the dolphin watching tour with Dolphin Excursions Hawaii and WOW! We saw a pod of dolphins swimming right next to our boat, it was magical.
