Q&A
A: Kids ages 12 and up can usually ride solo on the Rydables, as long as they feel comfortable operating it. Just remember, if they're nervous, adults can always ride with them. It's a fun way to explore Charlotte together! If you have a 12-year-old, they should be fine, but practice is key.
A: Absolutely! If the weather looks bad, you can reschedule your tour without any hassle. They’re really flexible about it. Just give them a call to set up a new date. The last thing you want is to get soaked while trying to enjoy Charlotte!
A: Wear comfy clothes and closed-toe shoes, since you'll be zipping around Uptown Charlotte. Dress for the weather—if it's sunny, don't forget sunscreen! Layers are a good idea too, just in case it cools off in the evening.

Just did the Rydables tour in Charlotte—so much fun!
We took the Wild Things Rydables Tour last weekend with our kids (ages 8 and 10), and it was a blast! The training session was super easy, and the guide was really patient. Riding through parks and seeing the historic sites was such a cool way to explore the city. I totally recommend it for families. Just make sure to watch out for traffic if you're riding solo! Can't wait to go again!
Thinking of gifting the Rydables tour—who's done it?
I want to get this Rydables tour for my niece and nephew (ages 6 and 9). Has anyone done it? Is it really as fun as it sounds? Looking for any tips on what to expect. Also, how long does the whole thing last? Thanks!
