Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join this wildlife tour?

A: Great question! There's actually no strict age limit, but they recommend that kids be at least 5 years old to really enjoy the experience. It’s a half-day tour, so younger kids might get a bit restless. Just make sure to dress them in layers since it can get chilly!

Q: What if the weather is bad on the day of the tour?

A: If the weather is really bad, Alaska's Finest Tours will usually reschedule you for another day. Make sure to check their policy on cancellations. Keep in mind that some drizzle might not affect the tour, so just dress appropriately and enjoy it anyway!

Q: Where do we park if we're driving to the tour meeting point?

A: There’s street parking available around the meeting point at 509 W 3rd Ave, but it can get busy. I recommend arriving a bit early to snag a spot. The downtown Hilton is also close, so if you're staying there, it's super convenient!

Thinking of gifting the Wildlife and Glaciers tour - any tips?

I'm considering giving my dad this Wildlife and Glaciers experience in Anchorage for his birthday. He's always loved nature and I think he'd get a kick out of seeing the bears and moose! What’s the best time to go? Also, any must-see spots along the way?
