Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for kids on the sleigh ride?

A: There's no strict age limit, but kids as young as 4 are usually fine on the sleigh ride. They might even get a kick out of spotting wildlife! Just keep in mind that it can get chilly, so dress them warmly. If you have younger kids, you might want to bring a snuggly blanket for them.

Q: Is there a weather cancellation policy for the sleigh ride?

A: Yes, they do have a weather cancellation policy. If it's too dangerous to go out, they'll usually cancel and offer you a full refund or reschedule for another day. It’s always a good idea to check the weather beforehand, especially in winter in Jackson!

Q: What should I wear for the sleigh ride and dinner?

A: Layering is key! Definitely wear a warm winter jacket, insulated boots, and don't forget gloves and a hat. It can get really cold out there, especially during the sleigh ride. For dinner, you can dress a bit nicer, but still keep it cozy—think sweaters and warm shoes. You want to be comfy after all the sleigh riding!

Thinking of gifting the Wildlife Safari & Sleigh Ride - any thoughts?

I'm considering this experience for my parents' anniversary. They love nature and wildlife, and who wouldn’t want to see moose in the snow? The dinner part at Turpin Meadow Ranch sounds really nice too. Just worried about how cold it gets during the sleigh ride. Anyone done this recently? What should I expect?

Has anyone done the Elk Refuge Sleigh Ride?

I'm really interested in the Elk Refuge Sleigh Ride part of this experience. Is it thrilling to see the wildlife so up close? And how about the views? I heard the scenery in Grand Teton is breathtaking. Any tips for first-timers?
