Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join the wildlife safari and dinner experience?

A: There's no strict age limit, but they recommend kids be at least 8 years old for the safari, since it'll be a long day and they want everyone to enjoy it. The snowshoeing is pretty beginner-friendly, so younger kids can definitely join if they can handle some walking in the snow. Just make sure they dress warmly!

Q: What if the weather is bad on the day of the experience? Can I reschedule?

A: If the weather is too severe, they will contact you to discuss rescheduling options. It's a good idea to check the forecast ahead of time, but the guides are pretty good at working with conditions. Just be flexible, and you’ll have a great time regardless!

Q: What should we wear for the snowshoeing part? Is it really cold?

A: You'll definitely want to layer up! Dress in moisture-wicking materials and wear a good pair of waterproof boots. It can get pretty chilly out there, especially with the wind. Don't forget gloves and a warm hat! The guides usually recommend bringing extra socks just in case your feet get wet too.

Just booked the Wildlife Safari and Dinner! Any tips?

I just bought the Wildlife Safari with Snowshoe & Winter Dinner experience for my partner's birthday! We’re both excited to see the wildlife in Grand Teton and enjoy that hearty ranch dinner. I heard the moose sightings are pretty frequent! Any advice on what to bring or expect? This’ll be our first time snowshoeing too!

Anyone done the winter dinner after the safari? Worth it?

I’m considering getting this for my parents who love wildlife and good food! How's the dinner after the safari? Is it worth sticking around for? I want them to have the full experience without any doubts.
