Q&A
A: Yes, participants must be 21 or older to participate in the wine tastings, as this is strictly regulated. If you're gifting this to someone younger, they can still join the tour and enjoy the scenery, but they won't be able to partake in the tastings. It’s a fun day regardless, so keep that in mind!
A: The tour is pretty casual! I’d recommend comfortable shoes since you’ll be walking around vineyards. Dress in layers because the weather can change quickly in the valley, especially if you're going in spring or fall. A light jacket is a good idea!
A: If the weather is bad, the tour provider usually tries to reschedule if possible. Make sure to check their policy when you book. Oregon weather can be unpredictable, but I've been on rainy tours and they still had a great time. Just bring an umbrella!

Thinking of gifting the Willamette Valley Wine Tour!
Hey everyone! I’m considering getting the Willamette Valley wine tasting tour from Portland as a gift for my parents’ anniversary. They love wine, especially Pinot Noir! I heard you visit 3 different wineries. Is it worth it? Also, are tasting fees included or extra? Any tips would be great!
Just did the Willamette Valley wine tour—so fun!
I went on the Willamette Valley wine tasting tour last week and wow, what an experience! We got to visit three awesome wineries. The guide was super knowledgeable and made the trip even better. The views were gorgeous! Just a heads up, the tasting fees were around $20 at each stop, so make sure to budget for that. Anyone else done this?
