Q&A

Q: Is there any age limit for kids on this tour?

A: There’s no strict age limit! The tour is designed for families, so it’s great for kids of all ages. Just keep in mind that younger kids might need a little extra attention during the walk. It’s all outdoors, so as long as they can walk and enjoy a little history, they’ll have a blast!

Q: What should we wear for this outdoor adventure?

A: Definitely wear comfy shoes since you'll be walking a lot! Dress in layers, too, because it can get warm during the day but cooler in the evenings. A hat and sunscreen are also a good idea since you’ll be outdoors. Just be prepared for a bit of weather, just in case!

Q: What if the weather turns bad? Can we reschedule?

A: You can absolutely reschedule if the weather is bad! Just reach out to Opatrip and they’ll help you find another time that works. They’re pretty flexible with it as long as you give them a heads up. So no worries if it rains!

Just did the Williamsburg Family Trek and it was amazing!

We took our kids on this tour last weekend, and I'm so glad we did! The guide was super knowledgeable and made history fun for them. Starting at the Kimball Theatre and walking through Market Square was a hit. The kids really loved imagining life back in the day. We even got some great pics in front of George Wythe House! Highly recommend it for families. Just be ready to walk a bit!

Thinking about gifting the Williamsburg Family Trek!

I’m considering this for my sister’s family for Christmas. They love history and exploring new places. I’m curious if it’s suitable for younger kids, though. My niece is only 6. Anyone have thoughts?
