Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for kids on the Wilson Scenic Float?

A: There's no strict age limit for the scenic float, but kids as young as 5 can usually enjoy it. The guides are great with children and ensure everyone is safe and having fun. Just be sure to check with the company if you have a really young kid to see what they suggest!

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather is bad?

A: Yes, if the weather is unsafe, they will usually allow you to reschedule for another day. Just make sure to call them ahead of time. They’re pretty flexible about it, which is nice!

Q: What should we wear for the float trip?

A: Wear something comfortable and quick-drying! A swim suit or shorts with a light shirt is great. I also recommend bringing a light jacket, as it can get chilly on the water, especially in the morning. Don't forget sunscreen and a hat!

Thinking about gifting the Wilson Scenic Float for my partner's birthday!

I’m super excited about this! The scenic float is in Jackson Hole, and I’ve heard it’s stunning with views of the Teton mountains. Price is pretty great too (free for the experience!). I'm wondering if it’s doable for a couple of older folks, like my parents who are in their 70s. Anyone have experience with that? Would they enjoy it?

Just did the Wilson Scenic Float and WOW!

I went on the float trip last weekend and it was incredible. The guides are funny and knowledgeable, and we saw a moose! 😍 The whole 13-mile trip was just beautiful. I highly recommend bringing a camera because the scenery is epic! Just a heads up though, the water was a bit chilly, so dress accordingly. Can't wait to go again!
