Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this hiking experience? I'm thinking about gifting it to my teenage kids.

A: There's no strict age limit, but we recommend this experience for ages 12 and up due to the physical demands of hiking in Yellowstone. The guides can adjust the routes based on fitness levels, so it should be great for your teenagers! Just make sure they’re comfortable walking a few miles on uneven terrain.

Q: What should I wear for this hiking adventure? Is it casual or more rugged?

A: Dress in layers! The weather can change really fast in Yellowstone. A moisture-wicking base layer, a warm mid-layer, and a waterproof jacket are ideal. Good hiking boots are a must, plus bring a hat and sunscreen. You'll want to be comfortable while soaking in those beautiful views!

Q: How does the cancellation policy work in case of bad weather?

A: The guides keep a close eye on the weather. If conditions are unsafe, they’ll reschedule or provide a full refund if you can't make it. It's best to check in with them a day or two before your planned hike for the most accurate info!

Considering the 'Winding Trails, Big Skies' hike - any thoughts?

I’m thinking about gifting this hiking experience to my dad for his birthday. He loves nature and hasn't seen much of Yellowstone beyond the crowded spots. I’ve heard the breakfast pastries and coffee included are a nice touch too! Any tips on making the day special?

Just got back from the Winding Trails experience, and wow!

I did the hike last weekend, and it was incredible! Our guide was super knowledgeable about the area and pointed out wildlife and cool plant life. The sandwiches from Tumbleweed Café were delicious after the hike! Highly recommend it for anyone looking to escape the crowds.
