Most wine tours in Napa are led by wine and food enthusiasts, who, while passionate about gastronomy, have no actual training or background in the field. This tour will be wholly different than anything you can find in the valley, and will be a fun blend of educational insight and wining and dining ourselves in the heart of Napa. My goal is to create an easygoing environment where you feel comfortable to ask all the burning questions you've ever had about wine and how to match it to the right kinds of foods. After all, this is about culinary enjoyment!

Q&A

Q: Are there age limits for the wine pairing fundamentals experience?

A: Yes, this experience is intended for guests who are 21 and older, as it involves wine tasting. It's a great gift idea for adults who appreciate food and wine pairings. If you're considering it for someone younger, maybe think about a different culinary experience instead.

Q: What should we wear for the wine pairing experience?

A: Dress code is pretty casual! I’d recommend wearing something comfortable but a bit nice since you’ll be in Napa. Maybe a light sweater or jacket if it gets chilly. Just make sure you wear shoes you can walk in as you might be moving around the vineyard.

Q: What if I need to reschedule my wine pairing experience?

A: You can reschedule, but it’s best to do it at least 48 hours in advance. Just reach out to Bacchus Loves the Hills directly. They’re pretty accommodating! Life happens, and they understand that. Just keep an eye on their cancellation policy for any fees that could apply.

Just booked the Wine Pairing Fundamentals experience in Napa!

Hey everyone! I just snagged two spots for the Wine Pairing Fundamentals with Bacchus Loves the Hills. I’m so excited because I’ve always wanted to learn how to pair wine with food properly! Plus, the fact that it’s guided by a trained Sommelier makes it feel extra special. Anyone done this yet? What should I expect?

Considering gifting the Wine Pairing experience!

I’m thinking about getting the Wine Pairing Fundamentals experience for my parents' anniversary. They love wine but have no clue about pairings. What do you all think? Is it a good idea or do you think they’d prefer something else?
