Q&A

Q: Are there any age limits for this tour? Can kids join?

A: Yes, kids are welcome on the tour! It’s great for families, especially since the Angel Oak and tea garden offer lots of space to explore. Just keep in mind that some of the tasting experiences may be more suited for adults, but kids can enjoy all the tea. Just make sure they’re supervised since it can get a bit busy on the farm!

Q: What should I wear for the vineyard and tea garden? Is it casual?

A: Casual is definitely the way to go! I wore comfy shoes since there’s a bit of walking, especially at the Angel Oak and the vineyard. You might want to check the weather though; a light jacket could come in handy if it’s breezy. Sunscreen is also a must for the outdoor areas!

Q: What if it rains? Do they cancel the tour?

A: The tour runs rain or shine, but if there's severe weather, they might reschedule. It's a good idea to check the forecast and bring an umbrella just in case. The tea garden and vineyard are pretty nice even with a drizzle, but you won’t want to miss the Oak if it's too wet!

Thoughts on the Wine Sippin'-Tea Drinkin' Tour?

I just booked the Wine Sippin'-Tea Drinkin'-Tree Huggin' tour for my parents' anniversary! They love nature and wine, so I thought this would be perfect. I’m really excited about the tea garden part since it’s the only one of its kind in the U.S. Has anyone done it? Any tips for making it special?

Just did the Lowcountry tour, and it was amazing!

I recently went on the Wine Sippin'-Tea Drinkin' tour, and wow, the Angel Oak was unreal! It felt almost magical being there. The tea tasting afterward was super fun too. You get unlimited tea, and I ended up trying flavors I’ve never had before. The vineyard was chill, and the wine was delicious. Highly recommend this experience!
