Private wine tour to Temecula stopping off at a lovely winery in Fallbrook. Monserate Winery began with a desire to preserve the beauty and integrity of Gird Valley. For 56 years, the beautiful 116-acre property was a public golf course, dotted with 100-year-old oaks and towering sycamore trees. After falling on hard times, the golf course closed. We had a vision to revitalize the land and create something incredible that would also enrich the lives of the surrounding community, and thus, Monserate Winery was born. We have been hard at work to bring this vision to life since 2016 and have made a lot of progress. Today, Monserate’s San Diego county wineries boast breathtaking vineyards, tranquil lakes, and spectacular scenery. As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we stay true to our original vision. We then stop off at lovely Mount Palomar winery and also Wilson Creek in Temecula.

Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for this wine tasting tour? Can I bring my 18-year-old?

A: There’s actually no strict age limit for this tour, but since it’s a wine tasting experience, any guests under 21 won't be able to sample the wines. However, they can still join in on the fun and enjoy the beautiful scenery and snacks. Just make sure to let the provider know you're bringing a minor!

Q: How do the transportation arrangements work? Is parking included?

A: The tour includes private transportation, so you don’t have to worry about parking! The vehicle will pick you up from your location in San Diego, which is super convenient. Just be ready for a relaxing ride, and they'll provide water and snacks during the trip.

Q: What happens if it rains? Do they cancel the tour?

A: Great question! The tour generally goes on rain or shine, as most wineries have indoor areas where you can still enjoy the tastings. However, it's always best to check with them a day or two ahead for any updates on the weather and potential adjustments to the itinerary.

Thinking about gifting the Temecula wine tour! Opinions?

I’m thinking about getting this wine tasting tour from San Diego for my partner’s birthday. We’ve never done a private wine tour before, but I’ve heard great things about Monserate Winery and the other stops like Wilson Creek. Are the views really as good as they say? I want it to be special!

Just did the wine tour, and it was incredible!

I booked the private wine tasting tour to Temecula last weekend, and wow, it blew us away! Monserate was definitely a highlight with its stunning views and amazing wines. The driver was super friendly, and the snacks were a nice bonus. Highly recommend it as a gift or just for a fun day out. Worth every penny!
