This tour is between 7 and 8 hours long. The wineries are about a 1 hour drive from Houston. During this hour of commute, we will see the terrain geography change. We will leave the urban cement and buildings for rolling meadows, horses and cows grazing, and small country homes, farms, and barns. You may also see more pine trees than in Houston. We will pass by small villages and towns.

Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the wine tours near Houston?

A: Yes, you have to be at least 21 to participate in the wine tours since it's all about tasting the wines. If you're looking for a family-friendly option, they do offer other experiences, but this one's strictly for adults. Just make sure to bring valid ID!

Q: What should we wear for the wine tour? Is it casual or more upscale?

A: The dress code is pretty casual! Think comfortable clothes and shoes since you'll be walking around the wineries. I’d recommend bringing a light jacket too, especially if you’re going during fall when it can get a bit chilly in the evening.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day of our tour?

A: If the weather doesn’t cooperate, they typically offer rescheduling options. Just give them a call or check your confirmation email for the rain policy. Wineries can still be fun in light rain, but safety is always a priority.

Considering the Houston wine tour for a friend's birthday!

I'm thinking about gifting my friend the wine tour experience out of Houston. The idea of exploring different wineries and tasting wines sounds amazing! Plus, it’s a full day event, so it’ll be a great way for us to catch up. Anyone done this tour before? What’s the experience like?

Anyone have tips for the Houston wine tour?

I’m planning on going on the wine tour soon and I’m really excited! I want to make the most of this experience. Any recommendations? What wineries did you like? And do they provide snacks or just wine?
