Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join the Winter on the Rocks tour?

A: There isn’t a strict age limit, but kids must be at least 5 years old to join the tour. They should also be able to sit unassisted in the vehicle. It’s a super fun experience for families, just make sure everyone is bundled up since it can get chilly up there in the mountains!

Q: What should I wear for the Winter on the Rocks tour?

A: Definitely wear layers! It can be super cold at the viewing tower, especially with wind chill. I’d recommend a warm jacket, gloves, and a hat. Waterproof boots are a must too since you might encounter snow on the trail. Also, don’t forget to bundle up the kiddos if you’re bringing them!

Q: How does rescheduling work if the weather’s bad?

A: If the weather is really bad, they’ll reach out and help you reschedule. They’re super flexible with that, especially in winter months since conditions can change fast. Just make sure you give them a call ahead of time if you have any concerns!

Thinking of gifting the Winter on the Rocks tour! Anyone been?

I’m looking at giving my boyfriend the Winter on the Rocks experience for his birthday. The idea of rock-crawling and then s'mores at the viewing tower sounds epic! How’s the scenery? And is it as fun as it sounds? I just want to make sure it's worth it, especially in winter!

Just did the Winter on the Rocks tour! Here’s my review.

Wow, what an experience! The ride was so thrilling, especially when we hit that natural roller-coaster part! The guides were super friendly and informative. We even got to see some wildlife. The view from the tower was absolutely stunning! Bring warm gear, it can get really cold up there, but totally worth it. Highly recommend it as a gift or just for yourself!
