Winter Waterfall Walk – Who's done it? Any tips?
I’m considering getting the Winter Waterfall Walk experience for my parents who are visiting from out of state. I’ve heard Barbara Falls is stunning when frozen, but I’m a little worried about them keeping up since they're not super active. Anyone done this before? What’s the terrain like? Tips would be awesome!
Experience at Barbara Falls was AMAZING!
Just got back from the Winter Waterfall Walk at Barbara Falls in Chugach State Park and wow, it was incredible! The frozen waterfall looked like a scene from a movie. The naturalists were really informative, and we even spotted some moose! Definitely recommend for anyone looking to explore the beauty of Alaska in winter.
